Problem Statement

The U.S. Forest Service needs new or improved ways to fight and prevent forest fires because recent forest fire are becoming more difficult to fight and are causing more damage.

How Is This A Problem?

Currently, there are nearly a hundred wildfires tearing across the American landscape. We are at the highest level of the National Wildfire Preparedness, and we are at risk of exhausting almost all of out fire fighting resources.
